Description

The Project Manager - DSA Construction will be responsible for:

• Lead all phases of DSA projects, including preconstruction, scheduling, budgeting, permitting, construction, and closeout.
• Manage project teams including superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, architects, DSA inspectors, and school district representatives.
• Oversee and enforce DSA requirements, codes, and standards, ensuring full compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive project schedules, mitigate risks, and implement solutions to maintain budget and timelines.
• Prepare and present progress reports, RFI logs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Support site safety programs and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Mentor and guide junior project staff.

Profile

The Project Manager - DSA Construction will be responsible for:

• 5-10+ years of construction project management experience, with 3+ years on DSA projects (K-12, community colleges, or public works).
• Proven track record delivering $10M+ ground-up and modernization projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of DSA regulations, permitting, inspections, and closeout procedures.
• Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and related construction management software.
• Skilled in budgeting, scheduling, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Experienced in leading and mentoring teams of superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Effective communicator with clients, architects, inspectors, and school district representatives.
• Prior experience with LAUSD, California Community Colleges, or similar agencies preferred.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and quality standards.
• LEED accreditation or sustainable building experience a plus.
