Sr. Project Manager - General Contractor - Burlington

- Project Variety: biggest market is K-12 education but they also do healthcare, industrial, commercial, municipal, senior living and religious projects
Description
- Oversee multiple projects from bid to closeout phase.
- Manage project teams, including superintendents, architects, project coordinators, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Develop and nurture owner relationships while expanding partnerships with clients, architects, consultants, and community organizations.
- Handle bid management, including pricing and scheduling.
- Plan and supervise self-performed trade work (concrete, masonry, carpentry) and contribute to production studies.
- Negotiate subcontracts and assist with conceptual and schematic-level estimating.
- Manage Owner Contracts, including negotiations and draft development.
- Take charge of project scheduling, updating, troubleshooting, and necessary actions.
- Lead job progress meetings, coordinate subcontractors, and handle RFIs, PCOs, and change order generation.
- Collaborate on jobsite safety with superintendents.
- Ensure compliance with contracts, local ordinances, and industry standards through rigorous quality control.
- Monitor and report project profitability.
- Swiftly address and resolve issues as they arise.
- Manage billing, change management, costs, profitability, and documentation.
- Act as a representative of the company.
Profile
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in all phases of the construction process, including preconstruction and construction management.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage project teams effectively.
- Advanced problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with estimating in carpentry, concrete, and masonry is a valuable asset.
- Committed team player dedicated to achieving project excellence.
Job Offer
- Strong base salary ($110k-$130k)
- 3-4 weeks PTO
- Car allowance or mileage reimbursement
- Comprehensive healthcare (85/15 split)

- Discretionary bonus of 7% to 10%
