Vice President of Engineering - Electrical - Amesbury, MA
The Vice President of Engineering will lead all product development initiatives for high tech industries. You will oversee a team and the entire development cycle - from technical feasibility to full-scale production - ensuring products meet performance and cost targets within the agreed timeline and budget.

The location is part of a larger network of plants and R&D centers, emphasizing innovation, quality certifications, and advanced materials expertise.
Description
Reporting into the President of Global Product President, you will be responsible for the following:
- Develop product specifications
- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams such as Product Management and Manufacturing
- Ensure products meet customer specifications
- Develop manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling
- Drive the design and build of processes, equipment, and tooling
- Identify cost reduction opportunities
- Responsibility of Engineering budget
- Maintain technical documentation
- Lead, develop, and motivate staff, providing technical guidance
Profile
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Master's Degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in electrical power design
- 5+ years of experience in a management/leadership position
- Experience with project management
- Experience with Electrical and Mechanical design/modeling, DOE, PDM, Phase Gate Process
