Description

The Superintendent - Healthcare Projects - Rockville, MD will be responsible for:

• Coordinate projects by supervising daily healthcare construction project operations, ensuring timely completion, and collaborating with other trades.
• Manage the team by leading and training staff while prioritizing safety and performance.
• Ensure quality by verifying that all work meets specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Communicate with stakeholders to resolve issues and provide regular progress updates.
• Oversee inventory and ensure the availability of materials and equipment.
• Maintain records of completed tasks and track budgets.
• Supervise commissioning by overseeing system testing, troubleshooting, and the handover process to ensure proper functionality.

Profile

The Superintendent - Healthcare Projects - Rockville, MD will have:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, specifically with healthcare construction projcets.
• In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, relevant codes, and industry standards.
• Possession of relevant certifications, including OSHA and First Aid/CPR.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to quickly identify issues and provide effective solutions.
• Experience in scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating projects around $20 million
