Construction Business Development Manager

As we expand our presence in the region, we're seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and open new market opportunities.

We are a leading general contractor specializing in innovative construction solutions across Southern California. With a diverse portfolio of structural and architectural products, we are committed to delivering excellence and forging strong client relationships.

Description

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow our client base and secure new projects, particularly in the structural and architectural sectors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Southern California, with a focus on expanding our facades and prefab product lines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders in the design and construction community.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align business development initiatives with company goals.
  • Provide technical insights to clients, leveraging expertise to guide them in selecting the best solutions for their projects.
  • Lead client presentations, negotiations, and contract closures.

Profile We are looking for candidates with one or more of the following backgrounds:

  1. SEOR (Structural Engineer of Record) Experience:

    • Strong technical expertise in structural and architectural products.
    • Ability to quickly grasp our product offerings and apply them to diverse projects.
    • A track record of contributing to successful business pursuits in construction or engineering.
  2. Architectural Background:

    • Strong connections within the design community, particularly in Southern California.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with architects and design professionals.
    • Experience in facades or other architectural elements is highly desirable.
  3. Prefab Subcontractor Experience (e.g., Glazing) with Sales Expertise:

    • Proven track record of sales success in prefab construction or related fields.
    • Hands-on experience with prefab products and processes, transferable to our offerings.
  • Michael Page will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
