Superintendent - Multifamily & Commercial - North Conway, NH

We're seeking a mid to senior-level Superintendent to oversee multifamily and commercial ground-up construction projects throughout New Hampshire. This is a growth-driven hire due to a strong backlog of work and expanding project portfolio.

Our client is a well-established general contractor with offices across Northern New England. Founded in the late 1990s, they've built a reputation for delivering high-quality projects in healthcare, education, hospitality, multifamily, and municipal sectors. With a team of 130+ employees and projects ranging from $1M to $50M, they offer both design-build and green building services.

Description

The Superintendent will report directly to the General Superintendent and be responsible for managing field operations on multiple ground-up projects, with a strong focus on wood-frame multifamily builds. The role requires travel across New Hampshire, with a concentration of work in North Conway.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and ensure project milestones are met
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff
• Enforce safety protocols and quality standards
• Maintain project documentation and reporting
• Communicate regularly with project managers and leadership
• Resolve field issues and ensure compliance with plans/specs
• Lead site meetings and inspections
• Represent the company professionally with clients and stakeholders

Profile

Superintendent - Multifamily & Commercial - North Conway, NH - $135k+ - Will have

• 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent (no Assistant-level candidates)
• Strong background in wood-frame multifamily construction
• Experience with ground-up projects preferred
• Willingness to travel across New Hampshire
• Located within commuting distance to Manchester or Keene offices
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
