My client, a leading plastics manufacturer, is seeking an Engineering Manager to support their organization. This person will be responsible for managing and mentoring more junior engineers while also working hands-on within program management.

My client, a Connecticut-based company specializes in precision injection molding for the medical and healthcare industries. With a focus on innovation, quality, and lean manufacturing, it supports complex product development from concept to production.
Description
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for:
- Mentoring a team of 3 engineers
- Program management
- Performance reviews, coaching and managing day-to-day tasks
- Managing tooling projects
- Customer interactions
- Working cross-collaboratively with other teams
- Coordinating team meetings
- Timeline management
- Participating in continuous improvement programs
- Establishing and maintaining procedures to achieve high standards of quality
- Leading efforts to evaluate and develop processes, equipment, materials and designs
Profile
The successful Engineering Manager should have:
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in manufacturing operations
- Management and leadership experience
- Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes
- Microsoft office skills
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and policies
- Lean Manufacturing, FMEA and GD&T Experience
- Project management experience
Job Offer
- A competitive base salary range of $100,000 - $125,000
