Facilities Engineer - Plastics/Medical Device - Yonkers, NY

Support current operations and future facility expansions. Responsible for maintaining and improving facility systems-including cleanrooms, HVAC, and mechanical equipment-while ensuring regulatory and safety compliance.

• Design, maintain, and upgrade mechanical systems and cleanroom environments
• Oversee HVAC, boiler, and environmental control systems to support regulated manufacturing areas
• Support capital projects from planning through execution, including site expansions
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Create and maintain technical documentation for facility systems and procedures
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime
• Manage project budgets and coordinate contractor/vendor activities
• Provide training and support for operational teams

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Facilities, or related field)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment
• Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
• Hands-on experience with CMMS, BMS/EMS, HVAC, steam systems, and cleanroom operations
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to write and maintain technical documentation and SOPs
• Willingness to work in cleanroom environments and follow all PPE/safety procedures
