Regional Sales Manager - Thermal Solutions - East Coast

Our client is a thermal management manufacturer specializes in engineered cooling solutions for high-performance electronics, serving sectors such as aerospace, defense, industrial automation, telecommunications, and energy systems. The company operates with vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities, including aluminum extrusion, precision machining, liquid-cooling assembly, and custom thermal design engineering, allowing it to support both standard and highly customized OEM applications. Its reputation is built around reliable domestic production, rapid prototyping, and advanced heat-transfer technologies such as cold plates, heat pipes, vapor chambers, and liquid-cooled systems used in demanding, high-reliability environments.
Description
- Promote and reinforce a proactive, safety-first workplace culture.
- Foster an environment grounded in integrity, accountability, transparency, and ethical conduct.
- Maintain and grow the existing customer base for thermal management solutions within the assigned territory.
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities for both standard and custom thermal products across diverse industries.
- Qualify and follow up on inbound leads generated through web inquiries and distribution channels.
- Conduct on-site customer presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions with prospective clients.
- Advocate for the company's engineering and design support services by educating customers on the advantages of early-stage thermal collaboration.
- Clearly communicate the organization's value proposition and technical capabilities to prospective customers and partners.
- Lead and coordinate the priorities, objectives, and performance of independent sales representative organizations throughout the Eastern region.
- Collaborate with distribution partners and internal channel leadership to support territory growth and opportunity development.
- Establish and utilize KPI-driven metrics to monitor sales activity, pipeline development, conversions, and regional performance in alignment with annual strategic objectives.
- Develop forecasts and provide regular reporting on regional sales performance and market activity.
- Participate in annual budgeting, sales planning, and strategic business initiatives.
- Serve as an engaged and collaborative member of the sales and marketing organization while building trusted internal and external partnerships.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage customer relationships, sales activity, opportunity tracking, bookings, and pipeline reporting.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline prefered
- 3-5+ years within a related industry such as thermal management solutions, engineered products, precision manufacturing, or technical engineering services.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and enterprise CRM platforms; Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively across technical and executive audiences.
- Results-driven professional with high energy, strong business acumen, and a proven ability to develop and close strategic opportunities.
- Self-motivated and capable of operating independently while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel regionally across East Coast up to 50-75% as required to support customers, channel partners, and business development activities.
