Director of Programs - Fort Lauderdale - Aerospace/Defense
This role leads the execution of multiple manufacturing programs while building structure, improving processes, and strengthening cross‑functional coordination across operations, engineering, supply chain, and production. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on program leader who can drive scheduling, delivery, communication, and standardization in a fast‑paced, growing organization.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead execution of multiple active programs, ensuring alignment, scheduling accuracy, and delivery performance
- Partner closely with operations, production, supply chain, and engineering teams
- Drive coordination, documentation, workflow improvements, and project discipline
- Monitor cost, schedule, resource allocation, and program risks
- Support day‑to‑day program oversight with strong on‑site leadership and communication
- Develop structure and processes to support scaling, standardization, and cross‑functional clarity
- Strengthen compliance, reporting, and internal controls
- Foster positive, collaborative relationships across teams and locations
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- 8-10+ years of experience in program or project leadership within complex manufacturing environments
- Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in fast‑paced settings
- Strong operational awareness and comfort working closely with production and cross-functional teams
- Skilled in scheduling, coordination, communication, and process alignment
- Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to connect with a diverse workforce
- Technical or engineering degree preferred; advanced education a plus
- Comfortable in environments experiencing growth, change, and organizational rebuilding
