Director of Programs - Fort Lauderdale - Aerospace/Defense

This role leads the execution of multiple manufacturing programs while building structure, improving processes, and strengthening cross‑functional coordination across operations, engineering, supply chain, and production. Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead execution of multiple active programs, ensuring alignment, scheduling accuracy, and delivery performance
• Partner closely with operations, production, supply chain, and engineering teams
• Drive coordination, documentation, workflow improvements, and project discipline
• Monitor cost, schedule, resource allocation, and program risks
• Support day‑to‑day program oversight with strong on‑site leadership and communication
• Develop structure and processes to support scaling, standardization, and cross‑functional clarity
• Strengthen compliance, reporting, and internal controls
• Foster positive, collaborative relationships across teams and locations

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

• 8-10+ years of experience in program or project leadership within complex manufacturing environments
• Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in fast‑paced settings
• Strong operational awareness and comfort working closely with production and cross-functional teams
• Skilled in scheduling, coordination, communication, and process alignment
• Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to connect with a diverse workforce
• Technical or engineering degree preferred; advanced education a plus
• Comfortable in environments experiencing growth, change, and organizational rebuilding
