Superintendent - Ground Up Commercial - Worcester, MA

The Lead Superintendent will manage ground-up commercial construction projects. This role will primarily oversee large-scale projects within 1 hour of Worcester, including a manufacturing facility and multifamily construction. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a strong background in site work and a working knowledge of various trades. This position reports directly to the General Superintendent.

Description

Superintendent - Ground Up Commercial - Worcester, MA - Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of large-scale, ground-up construction projects, including commercial and multifamily developments.
• Coordinate and supervise on-site staff, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Ensure safety compliance on all job sites, including maintaining safety protocols and enforcing OSHA standards.
• Use Procore to track and manage project schedules, documents, and budgets.
• Collaborate closely with the General Superintendent and project teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during construction.

Profile

Superintendent - Ground Up Commercial - Worcester, MA - Will have

• 15+ years of experience in ground-up commercial construction with a proven track record of success on large projects.
• Strong background in site work and hands-on knowledge of the construction trades.
• Experience with Procore or similar project management software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Local to Worcester area is preferred.
