Accounting Manager
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, supporting cost accounting and inventory management processes, and maintaining compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and company policies.

Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and post monthly journal entries ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Perform bank and intercompany account reconciliations.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and related reports.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure proper accounting for business transactions.
Support external and internal audits by preparing required documentation and schedules.
Identify and recommend improvements to accounting systems, controls, and processes.
Play an active role in the implementation and optimization of a new ERP system.
Manage and process weekly payroll.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Controller.
Profile
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
Experience:
2-4 years of related accounting experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics); Epicor experience highly preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Familiarity with financial analysis, budgeting, and job costing.
Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
