Public Works Construction Project Engineer

Description

Public Works Construction Project Engineer will:

• Work on-site to support project execution and ensure field operations align with project plans

• Assist in planning, design, and implementation phases from concept through completion

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to maintain schedule and budget targets

• Perform technical calculations and contribute to engineering drawings and documentation

• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance

• Identify and address project issues in real-time, providing technical support to field teams

• Track project milestones and prepare status reports for stakeholders

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)

• 2+ years of experience in an engineering or building and construction project role

• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in project management and design software (AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, etc.)

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable working in an on-site, fast-paced project environment

• Ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines

Job Offer

• Public Works Construction Project Engineer Salary: $90,000 - $120,000, based on experience
