Total Rewards Analyst - $80k-$95k - Hybrid Cincinnati
Our client is seeking a Total Rewards Analyst to lead compensation, benefits, and recognition programs that support business goals and enhance the employee experience across North America. This role serves as the subject matter expert, ensuring strategies are competitive, compliant, and aligned with company objectives, while managing the day-to-day operations of all Total Rewards initiatives. This person must have experience in compensation and benefits strategy and execution.

Our client is a global organization with a strong North American presence. They play a key role in the production and distribution of specialty chemicals and raw materials. The company supports a wide range of industries including food, pharmaceuticals, personal care, and industrial.
The Total Awards Analyst is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive HR team. The role will report into the HR Manager and will oversee the day-to-day operations of all Total Rewards initiatives, including compensation planning, benefits administration, wellness programs, and employee recognition. The Total Awards Analyst will ensure the Total Rewards program attracts potential talent, as well as retains and excites current employees.Candidates should have at least four years experience in compensation and benefit strategy development and program execution. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, along with a deep understanding of relevant laws and market trends.
This position is fully on-site for the first 90 days and then will be hybrid, working out of the downtown Cincinnati office three days a week and two days from home.
Description
Compensation:- Develop and implement compensation programs such as salary structures, incentive plans, and market analyses.
- Conduct market and trend analyses to set pay ranges as needed and align with merit planning.
- Create and maintain job classifications and salary grades.
- Participate in bonus plan development and implementation.
- Benchmark jobs against survey data and other information to determine competitive compensation ranges.
Benefits:
- Administer and refine benefit offerings.
- Ensure compliance such as ERISA, ACA, and COBRA.
- Partner with vendors and brokers to ensure plans are competitive.
- Manage 401(k) provider and oversee annual audit.
- Lead open enrollment sessions and new hire enrollment sessions.
- Answer employee benefit questions and iniquiries.
- Spearhead the wellness program.
Employee Recognition & Engagement:
- Develop and manage the employee recognition program.
- Partner with department leads to align the recognition program with business goals.
- Manage the employee recognition budget.
- Develop and deliver communication strategies.
Profile
- At least four years experience in compensation and benefit strategy development and program execution.
- The ability to go on-site in downtown Cincinnati.
- Strong knowledge of compliance requirements (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide insights to drive decisions.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
- Proven ability to design and refine compensation structures, benefit offerings, and recognition programs.
- Comfortable managing vendor relationships and overseeing open enrollment and wellness initiatives.
