Senior Estimator
An industry-leading general contractor is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels in preconstruction, estimating, and cost analysis for commercial and public projects.

Description
- Lead the preconstruction and estimating efforts for commercial and public projects.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including material, labor, and equipment breakdowns.
- Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to develop accurate budgets and schedules.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and compliance.
- Utilize industry-standard estimating software and maintain accurate cost databases.
Profile
- 7+ years of estimating experience in commercial and/or public sector construction.
- Strong knowledge of local market conditions, subcontractors, and suppliers in Florida.
- Expertise in estimating software such as ProEst, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar tools.
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
