Description

  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager to develop, implement, and maintain a robust quality system that meets both certification and customer standards efficiently.
  • Review customer and quality system requirements to ensure they are achievable and can be met effectively.
  • Configure and communicate quality requirements through quality plans, work instructions, and supplier notes to ensure conformity.
  • Create and document quality control instructions, such as Process Flow Diagrams, Failure Mode and Effects Analyses, and Process Control Plans, for inspectors, production personnel, and suppliers.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of quality processes and certification programs for suppliers, internal teams, and products.
  • Define and implement quality system standards and create instructions for product inspection, testing, and evaluation, including forms for record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to determine appropriate inspection techniques and sampling plans to ensure product conformance.
  • Validate procedures and documentation through direct observation to ensure effectiveness.
  • Develop Statistical Process Control Plans and oversee data collection, evaluation, and reporting to monitor process performance against control limits.
  • Implement methods for analyzing suspect materials and resolving product non-compliance issues promptly and cost-effectively.
  • Participate in failure analysis and forensic evaluations of failed products to identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, including assessing and developing supplier performance and operator authorization programs.
  • Review manufacturing processes, work instructions, and material handling techniques to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on quality issues and develop corrective action plans.
  • Communicate with customers regarding quality concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Host customer visits and audits related to quality, demonstrating a commitment to exceeding quality expectations.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment focused on meeting and exceeding customer quality expectations.

Profile

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferably in BMSE (Biomedical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or a related field).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a related field.
  • AS-9100 Audits/Certifications: Extensive experience with AS-9100 audits and certifications.
  • Quality Management Systems: Proficient in developing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS).
