Quality Ops Engineer - Metal Manufacturing - Lancaster County

Description
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining quality control systems aligned with industry best practices.
- Performing root cause analysis and driving corrective and preventive actions for quality-related issues.
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to confirm adherence to product specifications.
- Conducting internal, supplier, and product audits to maintain compliance with ISO and regulatory requirements.
- Tracking and analyzing quality performance data, preparing reports, and recommending improvements.
- Supporting new product launches by developing quality plans and validation protocols.
- Acting as the primary contact for customer quality concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, minimize defects, and enhance product quality.
Profile
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, standards, and methodologies (automotive experience is a plus but not required).
- Proficiency in root cause analysis, SPC, and problem-solving tools.
- Solid inspection experience and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience in supplier quality management and auditing is advantageous.
