Description
- Analyze construction blueprints and specification criteria
- Annotate plans to highlight distinct task areas
- Draft scope of work documents for subcontractors
- Execute fundamental estimating tasks, including quantity surveys, data entry, and formulation of RFIs for plan inconsistencies and scheduling concerns
- Engage in subcontractor outreach and negotiations, conduct on-site and remote document reviews, manage bid documentation for specific trades
- Organize, transmit, and process project-related information
Profile
- 1-3+ year Estimator experience with a general contractor
- Must have bachelor's degree. Preferably in construction focus, but not required.
- 3-5+ years of construction experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Bluebeam and PlanSwift
- Must be comfortable working in a team environment
- Must be comfortable working with deadlines
- Must be able to manage working on several projects at the same time
