The Lead Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing field operations on complex commercial construction projects. You'll serve as the primary liaison between the field and project leadership, mentoring a team of superintendent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of superintendents and field staff, cultivating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and safety.

  • Oversee and manage all jobsite activities, including scheduling, logistics, trade coordination, and short-interval planning.

  • Champion a strong safety culture by enforcing compliance with the company's injury-free environment program.

  • Drive execution excellence through detailed schedule management, production tracking, and proactive problem-solving.

  • Interface directly with owners, design teams, and local authorities to ensure alignment and facilitate key project milestones.

  • Review design documents for constructability and field impact, collaborating closely with project engineers and virtual design teams.

  • Support self-perform crews and subcontractors with daily coordination and progress tracking.

  • Ensure quality standards and code compliance through regular site inspections and enforcement of company protocols.

  • Maintain thorough daily reports, documentation, and field logs for internal and external stakeholders.

Profile



Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction field management, with at least 5 years leading large, technical projects.

  • Deep understanding of construction scheduling (Primavera or similar), logistics planning, and field operations best practices.

  • Demonstrated leadership in fast-paced environments with complex stakeholder coordination.

  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent field experience strongly considered.

  • Valid OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety or supervisory certifications a plus.
