Senior Accountant

Description

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely reporting.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, offering actionable insights.
• Support the preparation of financial statements in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures across all activities.

Profile

A successful Sr. Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA preferred
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices within the financial services industry.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with various teams.
