Director of Preconstruction - Western, MA - Multifamily/School
The Director of Preconstruction will oversee and manage all aspects of the preconstruction process, ensuring projects are planned, budgeted, and scheduled effectively. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in the property industry and a passion for excellence in construction.

- This opportunity is with a medium-sized organization in the property industry that is focused on delivering high-quality construction projects. The company is known for its commitment to excellence and has a solid reputation within the industry. They are the oldest operating General Contractor in Western, MA and they have a great pipeline of repeat clients that keep them busy year in and year out. They are looking for their next Director level employee.
- Typically managing 15 projects per year.
- Pride themselves in maintaining a manageable workload using a tight knit collaborative team effort
- 10 office employees and 40 field staff. 50 employees total

Description
- Lead and manage preconstruction efforts for various construction projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.
- Develop and oversee project budgets, estimates, and schedules during the preconstruction phase.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to preconstruction activities.
- Provide leadership and guidance to preconstruction team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external teams to ensure project success.
