Inside Sales / Estimator - Machine Shop - Ayer, MA

Join our team as an Inside Sales / Estimator in a machine shop located in near Ayer, MA. This role in the machine shop, laser cutting, etc. industry will allow you to showcase your estimating and sales skills while working closely with engineering, sales and manufacturing teams.

Our client is a U.S.-based advanced manufacturing and materials processing company. It specializes in precision laser machining and materials processing, offering both services and components to OEMs and manufacturers. Its headquarters and main facilities are just north of Boston, Massachusetts. They also have a brand new manufacturing facility.

Description

• Prepare accurate estimates and quotes based on customer specifications and requirements.
• Read blueprints and designs
• Communicate with customers to gather project details and ensure their expectations are met.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales and manufacturing teams to assess project feasibility and timelines.
• Maintain and update records of estimates, quotes, and customer communications.
• Support the sales team by providing technical input and detailed pricing information.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all estimating activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address inquiries promptly and professionally.

A successful Inside Sales / Estimator should have:
