Service Supervisor - Industrial Manufacturing - Tewksbury, MA
The Service Supervisor will coordinate and manage all vehicle service operations, including service writing, scheduling, and customer communication. The role is hands-on, overseeing technicians, supporting complex repairs, and ensuring accurate work orders, estimates, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Description
The Service Supervisor, automotive manufacturing, will:
- Serve as primary service writer, preparing work orders, estimates, and repair authorizations
- Supervise and assign daily tasks to service technicians, providing training and performance reviews
- Communicate with customers on service needs, timelines, costs, and technical support
- Answer calls, generate parts quotes/orders, and manage warranty authorizations/claims
- Manage service inventory and parts warehouse, including pulling, shipping, and ordering parts
- Maintain accurate service records, logs, and warranty documentation
- Perform diagnostics and support technicians with complex repairs
- Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Track and schedule repair orders, preventative maintenance, and service activities
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address recurring issues
- Support continuous improvement in service operations and customer satisfaction
- Uphold OSHA and workplace safety requirements across service activities
- Local to Tewksbury, MA
Profile
- High School diploma or equivalent; technical/trade certification preferred
- 3+ years of automotive, vehicle service, or maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Background in low-volume or specialty vehicle manufacturing a plus
- Supervisory or team lead experience in a service/repair environment
- Experience as a service advisor, writer, or other customer-facing repair role
- Proficiency with service tracking software and Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service orientation with proven problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of OSHA and Massachusetts workplace safety standards
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
- Ability to work effectively across teams and guide technicians in day-to-day operations
