Sales Manager - New England - HVAC/ Sheet Metal

The Sales Manager - New England - HVAC/Sheet Metal will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing key client relationships in the HVAC and sheet metal industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in sales and a passion for delivering excellent service to clients.

Description

Prospect & Develop: Identify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.

Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with decision-makers in commercial and industrial sectors.

Sales Strategy: Create and execute plans to penetrate new markets and grow revenue streams.

Proposal Management: Prepare accurate estimates and proposals based on project specifications and blueprints.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams to ensure seamless delivery.

A successful Sheet Metal Sales Rep should have:

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred)
    • Experience: 2+ years in sales, preferably in mechanical contracting, HVAC, or construction
    • Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication and HVAC systems
    • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
    • Understanding of mechanical systems and industry terminology
    • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
    • Other Requirements: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within service area
    • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
