I'm currently working with a growing multi-million-dollar landscaping company near Des Plaines, IL. Due to multiple recent acquisitions, the company has been experiencing rapid growth and is looking to add a Pricing Analyst to their team.

This is a newly created role that will sit on the finance team. The person will help build pricing models and develop standardized pricing processes across both corporate and regional teams. They will work closely with regional accounting managers and corporate finance to ensure pricing aligns with budgets and financial forecasts. The role will also focus on analyzing pricing contracts and margins while improving pricing processes to ensure accurate and consistent pricing across the organization.

The Pricing Analyst will help build pricing models and develop standardized pricing processes across both corporate and regional teams. They will work closely with regional accounting managers and corporate finance to ensure pricing aligns with budgets and financial forecasts. The role will also focus on analyzing pricing contracts and margins while improving pricing processes to ensure accurate and consistent pricing across the organization.

Description

Pricing Analyst Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain pricing models to support consistent pricing strategies across corporate and regional teams
• Partner with regional accounting managers and corporate finance to ensure pricing aligns with budgets and financial forecasts
• Analyze service pricing, contracts, and margins to support profitability and informed decision-making
• Support annual contract renewal reviews to ensure services are priced appropriately
• Evaluate overhead costs and project profitability to identify pricing improvement opportunities
• Help standardize pricing practices across newly acquired companies as part of ongoing integration efforts
• Assist with automation and process improvements, transitioning currently manual pricing processes into more efficient systems
• Support ad hoc pricing analysis for leadership, including scenario modeling and special projects.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Analytics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar analytical role
• Industry exposure to sectors such as construction, hospitality, landscaping, or other service-based businesses
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling; exposure to estimating tools, ERP, or CRM systems is a plus
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, and regional teams
• Background working in large or private-equity-backed organizations is preferred but not required
