Operations Manager - Industrial Manufacturing - Danvers, MA
The Operations Manager oversees the strategic direction and daily management of the facility, emphasizing both operational efficiency and long-term success. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role demands a proactive approach to ensure excellence across all aspects of facility operations, including assembly, warehousing, and project management.

They serves a variety of industries, including commercial, industrial, municipal, and horticultural sectors, providing innovative products to meet diverse lighting needs.
Description
This role will report directly into the CEO and be responsible for
- Recruiting, training, and managing departmental leaders to foster a collaborative, high-performing team of 4, including conducting evaluations.
- Overseeing all facility operations, including assembly, manufacturing, warehousing, and customer service projects, while optimizing efficiency and reducing costs.
- Acting as a liaison with the executive team, ensuring alignment on objectives and clearly communicating policies and directives to staff.
- Maintaining a safe, compliant work environment and developing budgets to meet financial targets across all departments.
- Enhancing customer satisfaction by updating policies, streamlining workflows, and improving integration of engineering, sales, and customer service teams.
- Evaluating and implementing the best support structure for internal teams, balancing managed service providers and direct support options.
Profile
The successful candidate will have
- 7+ years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment, with 5+ years of leadership
- Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Operational excellent and continuous improvement mindset
- Proven leadership and organizational abilities.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing regulations and operational guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
