Superintendent | K-12 Construction | Modesto
The Superintendent will oversee the day-to-day management of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires a solid understanding of the requirements and processes of the Division of the State Architect (DSA), with prior experience in K-12 school construction projects.

This family-run general contractor has built a strong reputation in California for its expertise in design-build and modular public works construction. The company specializes in K-12 and higher education projects, focusing primarily on negotiated DSA work rather than hard-bid pursuits - allowing the team to be selective about the projects they take on and the clients they partner with.

Description
- Oversee all on-site construction activities and coordinate subcontractors and self-perform crews
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- Lead site safety meetings and enforce company safety protocols
- Work closely with the Project Manager to manage budgets, manpower, and materials
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, inspectors, and design teams
- Oversee DSA compliance, site logistics, and daily reporting
- Foster positive working relationships with subcontractors and field teams
Profile
