Our client is a thriving high-end residential General builder (with a Property Management component of their business) in the city of Boston. Predominately winning luxurious custom remodeling projects in Downtown Boston & Boston's immediate suburbs, with a project value range of $500K to $5M+.
Description
Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:
- Oversee all phases of residential construction projects, from pre-construction planning through to project completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and projects stay on track.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure design specifications are met.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects remain within financial constraints.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, permits, and regulations for residential construction projects.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead, motivate, and direct on-site teams including subcontractors, tradespeople, and project staff.
- Hold regular meetings with team members, clients, and stakeholders to provide progress updates and address concerns.
- Coordinate efforts to resolve any issues that may arise during construction, ensuring that quality, cost, and safety are maintained.

Client Relations:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining a strong relationship throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure client expectations are met and communicate project milestones, challenges, and resolutions effectively.
- Review and approve change orders, invoices, and payments.

Quality Control & Safety:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials to ensure they meet company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being done to code and project specifications.

Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including meeting notes, contracts, schedules, and change orders.
- Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Ensure timely completion of required documentation, including permits, inspections, and compliance reports.
Profile
Main Qualifications:

Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a (full-fledge) Project Manager in residential construction, with a strong focus on multi-family, single-family, or mixed-use projects.
- Proven track record of managing residential projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), LEED, CSL, or OSHA certifications are a plus.

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, building codes, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project, or similar).
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
