Description
The Manufacturing Engineer responsibilites involve developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, supporting product launches, and driving lean improvements for quality and productivity.
The engineer collaborates cross-functionally to help processes, lead root cause analyses, and provide training and support to production teams.
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for product launches and upgrades.
- Review prints and evaluate designs for manufacturability and cost.
- Lead root cause analysis and apply corrective actions.
- Work with teams to manage equipment changes and resolve issues.
- Train and support production staff to maintain smooth operations.
Profile
The ideal Manufacturing Engineering candidate is an engineer with strong lean manufacturing expertise and a proven track record of process improvement.
They are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to lead teams and drive continuous improvement.
Successful candidates will have:
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Proficiency with Lean principles and Kaizen methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering prints.
- Experience with SolidWorks and standard business software
- Effective leadership and team collaboration skills.
