Civil CADD Technician

We're seeking a skilled CADD Civil Technician to join our team, specializing in ground-up construction projects. In this role, you'll support civil engineers by creating detailed plans for site development, underground utilities, concrete layouts, grading, and more. Using AutoCAD Civil 3D, you'll prepare high-quality design documents that meet project specifications and support efficient, safe, and compliant construction.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop precise CAD drawings for ground-up construction projects, including site layouts, underground utilities, concrete structures, and grading plans.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs align with construction plans and timelines.
• Update and revise drawings to reflect field conditions and project modifications.
• Conduct quality control checks on all designs, ensuring compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and client specifications.
• Assist in coordinating designs with subcontractors and utility providers as needed.

Profile

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or certification in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with CAD in civil or construction environments, focusing on site development and ground-up construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and knowledge of industry standards for site work, utilities, and concrete structures.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Understanding of civil construction principles, local codes, and regulations is a plus.
