The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes for aerospace and defense components. This role requires expertise in advanced manufacturing techniques, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a highly regulated environment.

Description

This Senior Process Engineer will:

• Design and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace components and assemblies.
• Develop process documentation, work instructions, and tooling requirements.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and customer quality standards.
• Collaborate with design engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related problems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Support new product introduction and scale-up activities.

Profile

A successful Senior Process Engineer should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in process engineering within aerospace and defense manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ITAR, and defense industry compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and ERP systems.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and advanced machining processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
