Project Accountant - Construction - Miami, FL
- Reputable Miami-Dade General Contractor hiring Project Accountant
- Must have Accounting experience in Construction industry.
Client Details
This reputable general contractor local to Miami-Dade and working throughout the Florida market, is seeking a project accountant to join their team. They are focused in the multifamily residential and general commercial sectors.
Description
- Manage full-cycle project accounting for 12-15 active jobs simultaneously
- Track project budgets, costs, billing, and profitability
- Process subcontractor pay applications and draw requests (GC Pay)
- Monitor job cost reporting and assist with forecasting
- Support project teams with financial reporting and documentation
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company and client requirements
Profile
- 5+ years of Project Accounting experience
- Prior experience working for a General Contractor (GC) or construction company (required)
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting or related field
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bilingual (English/ Spanish)
- Experience with Acumatica and/ or TimberScan Plus.
- Familiarity with GC pay systems and processes.
