Client Details

This reputable general contractor local to Miami-Dade and working throughout the Florida market, is seeking a project accountant to join their team. They are focused in the multifamily residential and general commercial sectors.

Description

• Manage full-cycle project accounting for 12-15 active jobs simultaneously
• Track project budgets, costs, billing, and profitability
• Process subcontractor pay applications and draw requests (GC Pay)
• Monitor job cost reporting and assist with forecasting
• Support project teams with financial reporting and documentation
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company and client requirements

Profile

• 5+ years of Project Accounting experience
• Prior experience working for a General Contractor (GC) or construction company (required)
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting or related field
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Bilingual (English/ Spanish)
• Experience with Acumatica and/ or TimberScan Plus.
• Familiarity with GC pay systems and processes.
