Product Quality Engineer l Metals Manufacturing

The Product Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring high-quality standards in stamping processes for custom manufactured solutions. This role is based near Willoughby, OH, and focuses on driving efficiency and maintaining compliance with engineering and manufacturing standards.

Description

• Monitor and evaluate product quality across stamping processes to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Identify and resolve quality issues to maintain production efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold manufacturing standards.
• Analyze data and trends to identify areas for process enhancement.
• Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions as needed.
• Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and findings for management review.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.

Profile

A successful Product Quality Engineer should have:

• Extensive APQP and PPAP experience
• Knowledge of control plans, process flow, and FMEA
• Experience leading and/or supporting continuous improvement in QMS
• History working with REACH or RoHS an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
