Product Quality Engineer l Metals Manufacturing
The Product Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring high-quality standards in stamping processes for custom manufactured solutions. This role is based near Willoughby, OH, and focuses on driving efficiency and maintaining compliance with engineering and manufacturing standards.

Our client is a long‑established manufacturer that has spent more than 75 years producing custom‑engineered metal components for major industries, including appliance, automotive, and industrial markets. They operate multiple U.S. facilities and run over 100 forming machines, delivering efficient, innovative solutions supported by strong in‑house engineering, tooling collaboration, and value‑added manufacturing processes such as assembly, heat treating, and finishing
Description
- Monitor and evaluate product quality across stamping processes to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Identify and resolve quality issues to maintain production efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold manufacturing standards.
- Analyze data and trends to identify areas for process enhancement.
- Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions as needed.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and findings for management review.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
Profile
A successful Product Quality Engineer should have:
- Extensive APQP and PPAP experience
- Knowledge of control plans, process flow, and FMEA
- Experience leading and/or supporting continuous improvement in QMS
- History working with REACH or RoHS an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Job Offer
