Commercial Drywall Project Manager - Large Scale Projects $10M+

New England's premier Drywall Contractor seeking Project Manager with experience working on large-scale commercial drywall projects ($10M+) in the Metro-Boston area!

Client Details

We are partnered with one of New England's leading drywall contractors - specializing in large-scale projects starting at $10M+ in value. Their expertise includes hospitals, high-tech labs, fitups of office buildings, multifamily/hotels, and mixed-use.

Their scope of work includes drywall, light gauge metal framing, misc. metals, rough carpentry, finish work, acoustical tile ceilings, wood framing, doors/frames/hardware, exterior cladding systems and specialty metals.

Our client pride themselves on the quality they provide, with most of their business being 99% repeat clients.

Description

  • Provide functional consistency in processes from preconstruction to project management
  • Analyze weekly and JTD production and review any significant over/under vs estimated production for weekly production and review with foreman cause of over/under.
  • Understand how an estimate is built, planned, priced and executed.
  • Manage communication between clients, field staff, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Project financial management
  • Maintain and build relationships across all relevant constituents internally and externally.
  • Track, project, and influence project performance
  • Manage, track and report labor productivity
  • Mentor, develop, and coach team members to improve leadership strength

Profile

  • 5+ years of industry-specific experience
  • Experience with Procore
  • Strong technical background in commercial drywall construction
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry practices
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
