Medical Device - Project Manager - Middletown, CT
Seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to oversee complex NPI programs from concept through production transfer within a regulated medical manufacturing environment. This role will drive project execution, customer communication, manufacturing coordination, and commercialization efforts while ensuring timelines, deliverables, and operational goals are achieved.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage site-based NPI programs from initial concept through production launch.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and resource plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication and project updates.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and commercial groups.
- Ensure achievement of project milestones, customer deliverables, and production readiness goals.
- Support proposal development, manufacturability discussions, and customer-facing technical reviews.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, delays, and operational challenges.
- Report program performance and status updates to executive leadership.
- Support engineering activities and contribute hands-on technical assistance when required.
- Research and coordinate external services, tooling, or process solutions as needed.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in project management or technical engineering roles within medical device or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of NPI processes, manufacturing operations, and project execution.
- Experience with precision stamping, coining, CNC machining, tooling, and inspection processes preferred.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO standards, and GD&T requirements.
- Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance strategic project oversight with hands-on execution support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project coordination tools.
