VP, Senior Developer

The VP - Senior Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining front office order management systems within the business services industry. Description

• Design, develop, and implement order management systems to support front office trading operations.
• Collaborate closely with traders, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Optimize system performance to ensure efficiency and reliability in high-pressure environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner to support business continuity.
• Partner with technology teams to integrate new functionalities and maintain system compatibility.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal company policies.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Profile

Must Have:

• 8+ YOE
• Coming from asset manager, hedge fund or fintech firm
• Experience working on EXTERNAL OMS (Charles River, Aladdin, ThinkFolio, Bloomberg, etc.)
• Experirence suporting front office and working directly with traders
• SQL, C# and .NET
