Manager, Tax & Compliance (Payroll) - Onsite NYC - Up to $130K
Hring a Tax Compliance Manager to oversee payroll within a large, global financial services organization. This position sits within HR Services and will manage a team of two. You'll be the go-to expert for payroll tax regulations, configuration, and reporting. MUST have Workday payroll processing and management experience. On site 5 days a week in Manhattan, up to $130K.

Description
Lead all payroll tax compliance efforts for U.S. and global operations
Maintain and manage Workday payroll tax configuration and updates
Ensure accurate year-end tax reporting (W-2s, T4s) and filings
Interpret and implement changes in tax laws and regulations across jurisdictions
Respond to tax notices, audits, and inquiries from federal and local authorities
Manage and mentor a team of two payroll tax professionals
Partner with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to ensure end-to-end compliance
Profile
8-10+ years of payroll tax compliance experience (not payroll processing)
Strong people management experience
Expertise in Workday payroll tax configuration
U.S. and Canadian payroll tax experience required (W-2s, T4s)
Excellent communication skills; polished and professional presence
Experience in larger organizations (1,000+ employees)
On-site 5 days/week at Battery Park, with flexibility (most team members follow a 4-1 schedule)
