Description
The SSuperintendent - Large Scale Healthcare Projects - Charleston will be responsible for:
Held weekly meetings and maintained daily communication with subcontractors to monitor project progress, schedules, changes, and deliveries.
Managed the construction site from start to completion, ensuring seamless operations.
Proactively identified design deficiencies, scheduling issues, and other project-specific challenges.
Gained a comprehensive understanding of the Prime Contract, subcontracts, drawings, and specifications.
Enforced safety protocols to ensure the job site consistently met or exceeded OSHA standards.
Maintained thorough project documentation, including change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal logs.
Collaborated daily with owners, tenant representatives, construction managers, superintendents, and project coordinators to align efforts and drive project success.
Profile
The Superintendent - Large Scale Healthcare Projects - Charleston will have:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager with a general contractor required
Proven experience managing ground-up projects in education, healthcare, and/or commercial sectors
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
Proficiency with project management software preferred
Strong understanding of corporate and industry practices, standards, and processes and their impact on project outcomes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members
Professional, business-oriented demeanor when representing the company at all levels
Local candidates in Charleston preferred; relocation candidates will also be considered
Job Offer
The Superintendent - Large Scale Healthcare Projects - Charleston will receive:
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience (approximately $120,000-$150,000)
Annual performance-based bonuses
Company vehicle provided, including gas card
Per diem and lodging provided for travel to project sites
