Description

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for:

• Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline operations through targeted training, process improvements, and efficiency-driven projects.
• Champion the evolution of manufacturing by advancing machinery, materials, tooling, automation, and production techniques.
• Manage and mentor a talented engineering team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and technical growth.
• Identify smart cost-saving strategies that maintain high standards for quality and performance.
• Partner closely with leadership, manufacturing, and commercial teams to align engineering efforts with business goals and project timelines.
• Stay ahead of industry trends by conducting market research, attending trade shows, and assessing emerging technologies to recommend scalable solutions.
• Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical equipment and infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Provide technical leadership in product design and development, validating revisions and ensuring alignment with customer needs and compliance standards.
• Shape and drive the company's technical roadmap, research priorities, and innovation strategy.
• Set clear engineering standards, best practices, and procedures to uphold excellence across all technical functions.

Profile

The successful Engineering Manager will have a background as follows:

• Degree in Plastics Engineering or a related technical field
• 5+ years of practical experience in injection molding operations
• Comfortable with, or eager to learn, quality frameworks and industry protocols including PFMEA, APQP, and PPAP
• Demonstrated ability to lead and execute projects from initial planning through to full production deployment
• Proficient in using a wide range of precision measurement instruments for inspection and process verification
• Skilled in interpreting complex technical drawings and applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards
