Assistant Project Manager - Public Construction
We are looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager with experience in public construction projects to support the management and execution of complex developments. The successful candidate will assist in project planning, coordination, and oversight to ensure successful and timely completion of public sector projects.

Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Project Manager - Public Construction:
- Assist Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of public construction projects.
- Help manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely completion.
- Track project milestones and provide regular updates to senior project leadership and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants, ensuring compliance with contracts, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of necessary documentation, including permits, change orders, and progress reports.
- Support the resolution of project-related issues and ensure that quality standards are met.
- Monitor and enforce safety practices on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
- Contribute to the preparation of project bids and proposals when required.
Profile
Successful Assistant Project Manager - Public Construction Candidate:
- 3-5 years of experience in public construction projects, with a strong understanding of public sector processes, requirements, and regulations.
- Proven ability to assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various teams, including subcontractors, consultants, and government officials.
- Experience with construction project management software and tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, with a proactive approach to anticipating project needs and addressing challenges.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
