Our client, a leading national general contractor with a strong presence in California, is seeking a Project Superintendent with DSA experience to oversee ground-up and modernization projects in the education sector. This is a high-impact leadership role managing K-12 and community college construction projects

Description
Responsibilities for Project Superintendent - DSA Education Projects in Los Angeles
Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from pre-construction through closeout
Ensure full compliance with DSA requirements, inspections, and documentation
Direct subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to maintain schedule, safety, and quality
Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Owner, Architect, and DSA Inspectors
Monitor job progress, manage site logistics, and maintain detailed daily reports
Enforce site-specific safety plans and promote a culture of safety across all trades
Resolve field issues proactively and support a solutions-oriented jobsite environment
Profile
A successful Candidate for Project Superintendent - DSA Education Projects in Los Angeles
5+ years of superintendent experience, with a strong focus on DSA-regulated projects
Proven leadership on K-12 and/or higher education projects ranging from $10M to $100M
In-depth understanding of DSA requirements, procedures, and documentation
Experience in Building and Construction
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
