Project Manager - Commercial Construction

$100,000 - $130,000/Year

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role ensures project success through strong leadership, proactive planning, financial management, and outstanding communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate has a proven background managing Class A Interiors and Ground Up Projects

Established and growing General Contractor with a great reputation in South Florida for large TI, Interior Build out and smaller ground up projects.

Description

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead all phases of commercial interior projects, including budgeting, scheduling, permitting, procurement, and closeout.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, site logistics plans, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, building management teams, and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate execution of project plans.

Financial Management

  • Maintain full ownership of project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Review and approve subcontractor agreements, change orders, and purchase orders.
  • Track project progress to ensure financial performance meets or exceeds expectations.

Field Coordination

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety, quality, and project compliance.
  • Support and collaborate with Superintendents to resolve field issues and maintain alignment with project objectives.
  • Enforce company and jobsite safety standards.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project partners.
  • Lead project meetings, provide timely updates, and ensure all stakeholders receive accurate, transparent communication.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a positive project experience and future business opportunities.

Documentation & Closeout

  • Manage all project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, daily logs, and closeout packages.
  • Ensure completion of punch lists and delivery of all turnover materials per project requirements.

Profile

  • Successful track record as a Project Manager with Commercial construction
  • 10+ years of Project Management experience taking projects from start to finish
  • Experience delivering Interiors Projects and some Ground Up (REQUIRED))
  • Florida project experience (Preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or similar
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to read, interpret and develop statistical reports
  • Must be able to read and interpret building and site plans and specifications.
  • Must be able to prepare cost estimates and project schedules.
  • Proficient with CMiC, Procore or similar software
