Description

The Sr. Estimator - Self Perform - Southern MA will:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for self-perform construction projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and scope to identify labor, material, and equipment requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure estimates align with current industry standards.
• Provide insights and recommendations to optimize project costs and maximize profitability.
• Assist in the preparation of project schedules and timelines based on cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards during the estimating process.

Profile

A successful Sr. Estimator - Self Perform - Southern MA should have:

• 10-15 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating practices, particularly in self-perform projects.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools commonly used in the industry.
• Open to either backgrounds within the self-perform trades OR general contracting experience.
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities for working with diverse teams.

• A proven ability to deliver accurate and competitive cost estimates within deadlines.
