Assistant Project Manager - Data Center Projects - Boston

Description
- Support day-to-day project management tasks and project team coordination
- Track contracts, pricing, purchase orders, and change orders
- Manage submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and insurance documentation
- Perform field observations and site surveys as directed
- Maintain accurate project data and ensure key information is shared appropriately
- Assist with procurement, vendor coordination, and inventory tracking
- Support preparation of proposals and updates for ongoing projects
- Attend meetings and maintain action logs
- Uphold information security standards and protect confidential company data

Profile
A successful Assistant Project Manager (APM) should have:
- 1-3 years' experience in construction management or project coordination
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project, and cloud-based project management software (e.g., Procore)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Experience with medium to high-complexity construction projects is a plus
- Mission-critical or data center construction experience is a bonus but not required
