Project Manager- K-12 Renovations

A leading general contractor in South Florida is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead K-12 school renovation projects in the West Palm Beach area. This role offers the opportunity to manage impactful educational builds while working with a stable, well-respected firm.

Our client is a reputable general contractor specializing in public sector construction across Florida, with a strong portfolio of K-12, municipal, and institutional renovation projects. Known for their quality work, consistent pipeline, and collaborative internal culture, they are seeking a driven Project Manager to support their continued growth in the Palm Beach County market.

Description

• Manage all phases of K-12 renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout

• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and school district requirements

• Lead project meetings and provide consistent communication to stakeholders

• Mentor and supervise assistant project managers or project engineers as needed

Profile

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 2 years managing K-12 renovation projects

• Proven track record of successfully completing occupied campus work

• Strong understanding of local permitting processes and DMS (Department of Management Services) requirements

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required

Job Offer
