Project Manager- K-12 Renovations
A leading general contractor in South Florida is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead K-12 school renovation projects in the West Palm Beach area. This role offers the opportunity to manage impactful educational builds while working with a stable, well-respected firm.
Client Details
Our client is a reputable general contractor specializing in public sector construction across Florida, with a strong portfolio of K-12, municipal, and institutional renovation projects. Known for their quality work, consistent pipeline, and collaborative internal culture, they are seeking a driven Project Manager to support their continued growth in the Palm Beach County market.
Description
Manage all phases of K-12 renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and school district requirements
Lead project meetings and provide consistent communication to stakeholders
Mentor and supervise assistant project managers or project engineers as needed
Profile
5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 2 years managing K-12 renovation projects
Proven track record of successfully completing occupied campus work
Strong understanding of local permitting processes and DMS (Department of Management Services) requirements
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required
Job Offer
Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, depending on experience
