A financial services firm is seeking a dynamic Learning & Development and Talent Management Specialist to join their team. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on professional with at least 5 years of experience in learning, development, and talent initiatives within a corporate or financial services environment.
Description
Learning & Development (Primary Focus - Individual Contributor Role)
- Design, deliver, and manage learning programs across the Americas region, ensuring alignment with global HR strategy and business needs.
- Serve as a confident facilitator and communicator with the ability to engage all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
- Own end-to-end L&D project execution including needs assessment, content development, vendor management, logistics, and post-program evaluation.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of continuous learning, growth, and well-being.
- Lead wellness-focused learning initiatives; experience in this area is a strong plus.
Talent Management (Project Coordination & Execution)
- Work closely with senior HR Business Partners to coordinate and implement talent programs and performance management cycles.
- Define and manage frameworks related to career development, succession planning, and talent reviews.
- Act as a project manager to ensure consistency, quality, and timely execution of talent initiatives.
- Leverage technology and tools, including AI where applicable, to drive efficiencies and insights.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Participate as a member of the DE&I advisory board, contributing ideas and feedback to ongoing efforts across the region.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning & Development and/or Talent Management within financial services or a similar corporate environment.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
- Experience working with or supporting HR across multiple countries/regions.
- Comfortable operating as the sole L&D point of contact while collaborating with a broader HR team (15 employees).
- Familiarity with wellness initiatives and AI-driven HR tools is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a professional yet non-hierarchical, collaborative environment.
