Sr Estimator - Multifamily Developer
As they continue to grow, my client are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their preconstruction team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial success and feasibility of upcoming multifamily developments.

My client is a leading multifamily real estate developer headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. With a strong portfolio of ground-up luxury apartment communities and mixed-use developments across the Southwest, we are known for delivering high-quality, design-forward projects that enhance the communities we serve.
Description
Lead conceptual and detailed cost estimating for multifamily wood-frame, podium, and wrap projects
Prepare and manage quantity take-offs, scope sheets, and bid comparisons
Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier proposals
Participate in design development meetings and provide real-time cost feedback
Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving strategies
Work closely with architects, consultants, and internal stakeholders during the preconstruction phase
Update historical cost data and contribute to estimating best practices
Mentor junior estimators and support team development
Assist with schedule development and construction phasing plans in coordination with project teams
Profile
5+ years of estimating experience, preferably in multifamily or commercial construction
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
Proven track record in conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimating
Strong knowledge of building systems, trades, and current market conditions in the Southwest
Proficient in estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Sage, Bluebeam, or equivalent)
Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative
