Lead Superintendent
We are currently seeking Superintendents experienced in ground-up multifamily construction. Our Superintendents are a vital part of the project team and become involved with projects during the pre-construction phase. As an integral member of the team, Superintendents are encouraged to assist in the professional growth of team members as well as develop & maintain positive relationships with Clients, Architects & Subcontractors.

Description
The Construction Superintendent will:
- Work to identify and address issues of concern or lack of information during pre-construction phase and throughout the entire project.
- Participate in development and final review of scope, buy-out and schedule when required
- Research, review and address any Client, Architect / Designer requirements or procedures to avoid project delays and ensure overall satisfaction
- Develop comprehensive understanding of project strategy and commitments including budget parameters, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones and inspections
- Oversee all daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction means & methods, progress, quality control and maintain a neat & presentable site
- Work in partnership with PM to maintain an updated and accurate project schedule that reflects the changes in project status and that meets the cost and time requirements of the project
- Demonstrate and maintain effective and open dialogue with the project team regarding changes in scope, job conditions, Subcontractor relations and any deviation in the direction of the project
- Promote positive relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all Subcontractors and Vendors while instilling this philosophy in the project team at all times
- Actively participate in all company-wide training and development initiatives
- Exceed Client expectations for each project by understanding Client needs, preferences and culture
Profile
The Construction Superintendent should have:
- 5+ years as a construction superintendent for a residential general contractor
- OSHA certification (preferred)
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Experience leading ground-up construction projects and managing a large team
