P6 Scheduler - Nationally Ranked ENR Firm - NoVA
The P6 Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules using Primavera P6. This role works closely with project teams to support planning, sequencing, progress tracking, and schedule risk mitigation throughout the lifecycle of construction projects.

Description
- Develop comprehensive baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 from preconstruction through project closeout
- Maintain, update, and analyze schedules on a regular basis, incorporating field progress and scope changes
- Ensure schedules comply with contract requirements, CPM best practices, company standards
- Perform critical path, float, and time-impact analyses to identify schedule risks and opportunities
- Prepare recovery schedules and mitigation plans as needed
- Assist project teams with delay analysis, change order support, and schedule narratives
- Work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and trade partners to validate sequencing and durations
- Participate in project meetings to review schedule updates, milestones, and constraints
- Support owner and consultant schedule reviews and reporting requirements
- Prepare schedule reports, progress updates, and dashboard summaries for internal and external stakeholders
- Track key milestones, deliverables, and long-lead items
- Maintain complete schedule documentation for project records
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in construction scheduling using Primavera P6
- Strong understanding of CPM scheduling principles
- Experience supporting mission critical, industrial, and/or commercial construction projects with a general contractor
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
