Project Executive - Top GC in New England - Large Projects

We're seeking a highly experienced Project Executive (or Senior Project Manager ready for the next step) to oversee large-scale, complex construction projects in Greater Boston. This is a leadership role reporting directly to ownership, offering influence over major multifamily and commercial developments.

Our client is a mid-sized, well-established General Contractor based north of Boston with over 90 years of experience delivering high-quality projects. Known for innovation and a collaborative culture, they specialize in ground-up multifamily, commercial, and healthcare projects ranging from $25M-$180M. With a strong pipeline and a reputation for excellence, they offer stability, growth, and a people-first approach.

The Key Responsibilities of the Project Executive:

• Provide executive oversight for large-scale projects ($50M-$125M+) from preconstruction through delivery
• Manage budgets, schedules, and contractual obligations to ensure financial success
• Serve as the primary liaison with clients, design teams, and stakeholders
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering professional growth and high performance
• Oversee subcontractor negotiations and execution of agreements
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality benchmarks
• Support strategic initiatives, including business development and client retention
• Represent the company in high-level meetings and project presentations

Profile

What You Need to Succeed

• 10-15+ years of experience in construction management (SPM or PX level)
• Proven track record managing ground-up projects $50M-$100M+ (multifamily preferred)
• Strong technical and interpersonal skills; ability to lead complex teams
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Excel
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities

• Base Salary: $175K-$225K (PX) or $165K-$190K (SPM ready for PX)
